Building a business is hard enough. Doing it without knowing what resources are available makes it harder than it needs to be.
One of the goals of BuyBlackAZ is to help business owners find support, not just customers.
Know Where To Look
Arizona has organizations and programs designed to help entrepreneurs start, grow, fund, and organize their businesses. The key is knowing where to look and being willing to use what is already available.
- Black Chamber of Arizona for events, resources, and business visibility.
- Arizona Commerce Authority for small-business tools, checklists, and growth support.
- SBA, SCORE, city programs, and community organizations for mentoring, workshops, funding guidance, and technical assistance.
Do not sleep on these resources. 💡
A lot of business owners are trying to figure everything out alone when there are people and programs built to help. That does not mean every program is perfect. It does not mean every grant is easy. It does mean you should know what is available before deciding there is no help.
Use What Is Already Built
Use the resources. Ask questions. Show up to the workshop. Join the chamber. Apply when opportunities fit. Build relationships before you need them.
You do not have to build alone. Help is out here.
