I had the most incredible experience at this restaurant last night! The Nigerian food was absolutely delicious, bursting with authentic flavors that I'm still dreaming about. The staff were so incredibly welcoming and attentive, Angel was so sweet, now I know why she's named 💫Angel💫, making me feel right at home. The atmosphere was so vibrant and lively, adding to the overall amazing dining experience. I wholeheartedly recommend everyone to visit this gem. You won't be disappointed!

Angel's Naija Cuisine is amazing! From the moment we walked in we were greeted with open arms and a warm, friendly atmosphere. Lynda and Modupe did an excellent job cooking and preparing our meal — the Jollof rice, Egusi soup, and fufu (fofo) absolutely "broke dah mouth" (delicious). Like we say in Hawaiian — sooooo Ono! Highly recommend for authentic Nigerian flavors and genuine hospitality. 😍 The music and the vibe was on another level that makes you want to get up and dance, even on a full stomach.

My family and I visited Angel’s for Mother’s Day as there was an All-You-Can eat buffet special. We were met with kindness, great music, and a chill atmosphere. The food was delicious; the amala, pepper soup, plantain, jollof rice, ayamase, meat, and puff puff to name a few (my family loves to eat lol). 10/10 would visit again!

I was craving for some Nigerian food after two weeks road-tripping through the South West and Google brought me here. I’m so glad it did because it was the exact fix I needed. The Jollof rice and goat meat was Owambe-certified and absolutely heavenly and the meat pies were bursting with flavor. Alex, Dupe and Ayomide served me and were so friendly and polite and Alex even threw me some delicious Akara on the house. I haven’t eaten Akara in ten years and for a minute it felt like I teleported back home with the delicious food, welcoming ambiance and gentle afrobeats music playing in the background. The owner Mrs Angel was a sweet, humble, hard-working lady and apparently she just moved to this spot two weeks ago. I hope business brooms and thrives for this family owned business. Now I know where to get all my meals whenever I stop in Phoenix. I highly recommend Angel’s Naija cuisine for all your dining and catering. 10 out of 10 stars.

I finally visited Angel’s Naija Cuisine after driving past it for over a year, and I’m so glad I did. It’s a tiny spot — just three tables — but spotless, cozy, and filled with the most amazing smell the moment you walk in. Angel greeted us with the warmest smile, and the way she spoke to my mom with such respect touched me deeply. When she found out my mother had Nigerian blood, she actually teared up. That moment alone told me this place was special. We even met her beautiful daughter and her polite son — it truly felt like family. Before we ordered, Angel gave us a taste of egusi and fufu. The egusi was rich and flavorful, and the fufu tasted like soft, warm mashed potatoes — way better than people online make it sound. My niece grabbed the fufu with her hands and dipped it right in, and Angel lit up with joy. We ordered the egusi with goat, beef, and tripe, plus fish and rice for my mom and a side of spicy gizzards. Everything was delicious. My only tiny note — and this is just my personal preference everywhere — is that I like gizzards boiled before frying so they’re less chewy. But the seasoning was incredible. This food is bold, different, and made with love. With the new location opening on 27th Ave and Camelback, Angel, you will definitely see us again. You’ve gained lifelong customers. Angel, o lẹwa gan-an, o ní ẹbun, ati pé ire ati ibukun máa tẹ̀ lé ọ. (Angel, you are truly beautiful, gifted, and may goodness and blessings follow you.)
