Black Chamber of Arizona

I reached out through an inquiry option on the website on November 12 and I didn’t receive a message back. On November 22 I responded to a Facebook post and I received a private message so I sent my inquiry, photos attached. I totally understand if donating tickets is something that is not done but to ignore me made me feel really bad for even asking. Communication is key.

I contacted the chamber via email on 9.25.25. I have yet to receive a response. I saw in a black womens group on Facebook where Velma the CEO posted for us to reach out and how amazing her team was. I am trying to start a black owned business here and have gotten no response or help. Based off some of these comments from years ago I see why. Seems like nothing has changed. Very unfortunate! Guess I'll have to try my local chamber of commerce instead.

I have been attending meetings hosted by Velma and her team. And it’s been life changing. To learn her story and see what she has done for the community shows that no dream is too big. I have seen first hand the results of her work through friends and even have been a vendor coincidentally at an event sponsored by her unknowingly. I have to yet join and I’ve already received life long connections and even have donated and also made revenue. If you are thinking about a program. This is the one for you. They have deep roots in Arizona. And that’s something you want to be apart of on your professional journey. Thank you Dr. people like me often times don’t need anything but to be shown what’s possible. You helped me keep putting one foot in front of the other. You and your team.
