Tap That Downtown

Found this spot during a quick search and so glad we stopped. The Guacamole Burger was amazing. I don’t know how the chef does it but the burger stays in tact without all of the ingredients sliding onto the plate after your first bite. One of the BEST burgers I’ve had in a very long time. The sweet potato fries are excellent and stay crunchy even well after cooling off versus getting soggy. The best part is the pour wall with a lot of choices of beers and wine. They also have board games to play. I’m going to bring dominoes next time. It’s also a great place to chill, relax, and enjoy the vibe.

I went to Tap That brewery expecting bar food and beer, and instead found wings that tasted straight out of a Michelin-star kitchen. The lemon pepper wings came out piping hot with a perfectly crisp skin that gave way to tender, juicy meat in every bite. The seasoning had multiple layers of heavenly delicious flavor of bright lemon, a slow-building pepper kick, and a buttery, savory finish that lingered without ever feeling heavy. You can tell real care went into the balance of flavors and texture, turning a simple wing order into something that feels genuinely gourmet. If you love wings and want a delicious flavor experience that goes way beyond basic lemon pepper wings, Tap That brewery is absolutely worth the trip.

I highly recommend this place. It was so cute and the service was amazing. I was in town visiting and spontaneously found this place. The beer, wine and sangria were all great. My man enjoyed his burger and I liked my wings. The wings were a tad bit salty but I maxed them so I guess it didn't matter. The fries weren't that good though. Overall I would return because everything else was on point and it was black owned which made it better.
