One Love Cafe

My husband and I stopped by One Love Cafe after realizing it had been a couple of years since we’d last been there, and I’m so glad we did. From the moment we walked in, Chef Ray made us feel welcome. We ordered, took a seat, and just enjoyed being there. It never felt rushed or transactional—it felt like walking into a family member’s home. We ordered the oxtails, greens, mac and cheese, and plantains, and everything was fresh and full of flavor. I could literally drink the juice from the greens, the oxtails… so juicy, and so full of flavorful. It tasted like someone’s Grandma was is in the Kitchen. That’s the highest compliment I can give. You can tell these recipes are made with care, patience, and a whole lot of love. Thank you, Chef Ray, for your kindness and for making my husband and I feel so welcome. The food was incredible. If you’re craving authentic Caribbean food, One Love Cafe is definitely worth checking out! The jerk chicken was packed with flavor, the rice and peas were cooked perfectly, and the plantains were sweet and delicious. The portions are generous, so you definitely get your money’s worth. The staff made us feel right at home with their friendly service and welcoming atmosphere. You can tell they take pride in their food and care about their customers. I’ll definitely be coming back to try the oxtails and curry chicken next time. Highly recommend!

My kids and I really loved our food! I had a custom vegetarian plate. Super tasty. The kids had jerk chicken and some sides All really good. Portion sizes were generous and the service was personable and efficient. This is definitely going to be our regular Jamaican spot. I highly recommend it 👌🏿.
